Two killed, one critically injured in tragic Tennessee crash

Following fatal car accidents, loved ones are often devastated. Such accidents are almost always unexpected. Almost no one anticipates having the emotional burden of losing a loved one in a car accident suddenly thrust on them. In many of these cases, too, the family members of victims may feel outraged. Usually, such cases involve a driver who acted negligently. Oftentimes, the loved ones of victims choose to take legal action against the negligent driver.

A recent fatal car accident in Tennessee left loved ones and friends emotionally devastated, according to reports. The accident occurred when a 20-year-old man pulled over to the side of a Tennessee interstate highway to help the occupants of a car that appeared to have broken down. The occupants of the car were a 20-year-old woman and her fiancé. According to police officers, another car crashed into the three. Both the 20-year-old man and the 20-year-old woman's fiancé were killed as a result. The woman was critically injured.

The driver of the other car, also 20 years old, was treated at a nearby hospital. He now faces charges involving vehicular homicide.

Loved ones of the victims set up a memorial near the sight of the crash. Some were quoted as saying the loved ones and community have been supportive of one another in this tragic time. Friends of the victims also set up a charity car show in honor of those lost.

Car accidents can have far-reaching, devastating effects. While dealing with this trauma, the loved ones of victims should not be further burdened with medical expenses, funeral costs and other accident expenses. Legal action can sometimes help loved ones obtain compensation that can help them cover such costs.
