There are different types of concussion

A blow to the head, such as in a motor vehicle accident, can result in many types of injury.

A concussion is every bit as serious as it sounds, as this can have a big impact on your life immediately following the accident as well as for many years to come. This is why it's so important to receive immediate and professional medical treatment.

There is more than one type of concussion, with the three grades including:

  • Grade 1: confusion that lasts no more than 15 minutes, with no loss of consciousness
  • Grade 2: confusion that lasts for longer than 15 minutes, with no loss of consciousness
  • Grade 3: loss of consciousness, regardless of the length of time

A grade 3 concussion is more serious than grade 1 or 2, but all three of these injuries can be extremely dangerous.

At our law firm, we have worked with many people who have suffered a concussion in some type of accident. Over the years, we have come to find that no two people react the same way to this type of injury.
