Two injured in an accident near Nashville International Airport

An accident near Nashville International Airport during the morning hours has left two people injured. According to the police, the truck accident occurred when an truck driver hit the back of a car on Murfreesboro Pike near the intersection with Donelson Pike. The drivers of both vehicles were taken to a local hospital for treatment; however, the seriousness of their injuries and their present medical conditions had not been disclosed at the time this post was written.

It has not been disclosed whether either of the two drivers, a man and a woman, were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident. The collision is still under investigation. The police had not determined, at the time of this writing, whether either alcohol or speed could have been a factor in the accident.
